Riccardo Schena

It is with deep dedication to our expatriate community that I present my nomination for the COMITES elections in South Africa.

As the active Treasurer for the Centro Culturale Italo-Sudafricano (CCIS) in Cape Town, I am directly involved in the administrative and financial stewardship of our local institution. My focus is on ensuring absolute transparency in our accounting and providing a solid organisational foundation for the events that celebrate and promote our heritage.

Professionally, I work as a structural engineer at Zutari, managing complex, large-scale international projects and developing advanced software automation tools. The rigorous analytical skills, problem-solving mindset and project management capabilities I apply daily in my technical career are practical assets I intend to bring to the committee.

My goal is to place my technical background and financial management expertise at the complete disposal of our fellow citizens. I am eager to work collaboratively to build a stronger, more supportive, and highly cohesive Italian network across the country.
